Great French War

Cover Reveal!

December 8, 2022 by elizabethahomar@gmail.com Leave a Comment

I am super excited to share the cover of my upcoming book, Enticed by the Viscount!

Coming in January!

After you’ve lost everyone you’ve ever loved, could you find the courage to love again?

The Viscount of Thornwood had been the poor relation until unexpected circumstances foisted the title, responsibility, and need for an heir on him. But he doesn’t know how to find a wife that wants him and not his title. Then another twist of fate sends the perfect lady riding across his lands.

Grief has been Miss Liliana Spencer’s constant companion for a decade. It stole her mother, her siblings, and her father. Then it stole everything else, leaving her destitute and without prospects. When Liliana’s childhood friend tries to play matchmaker, no one is more surprised than Liliana when it works. But can the dashing viscount see past her broken family and non-existent dowry?

As Liliana searches for her own happily-ever-after, someone wants Thornwood dead. Someone who will stop at nothing. Together, Liliana and Thornwood must overcome their old fears and figure out who is trying to kill him. And they must do it before the killer strikes again.

Works In Progress

From Dukes Spies and Lies

Been working on a lot, and I thought I would share a little what I have been up to.

Taken by the Captain is the fourth book in Dukes, Spies, and Lies, and is now available. After Captain McGregor helped Marquardt and Violet, then Sophie, it seemed he should get his own happily-ever-after.

Working through edits on Enticed by the Viscount. Particularly excited about this one as all three bosom bows, Lady Aurora, Lady Violet and Miss Liliana will now all have their happily-ever-afters.

And I’ve been drafting out a story for Lady Aurora’s brother.

As for the Seven Lords for Seven Ladies series, I hope to have more to share on that in a few weeks!

In the meantime, I am working through a short Samhain story. As I mentioned in my newsletter, Regency England didn’t celebrate Halloween. But people in Ireland and Scotland did have some fun rituals around Samhain.

I hope you are all having a terrific fall!

Second chances are never guaranteed. Sometimes, neither are first.

His father’s death brought Lord Alexander Kentworth home from the war in France and made him the Duke of Norchester. Now he needs an heir. Not a prospect he relishes, particularly when all four of his father’s wives died in childbirth. But when Alexander is caught in a compromising situation that threatens to ruin a young woman, he finds himself married anyway.

But he will never love his wife. Can’t love her. No matter how kind she is. How perfect. Because he will only lose her.

Lady Serenity wanted a good match with a kind man. She’d even secretly hoped for a love match. Instead, she’s forced to marry one of the most feared men in England. A man known more for the medals he earned fighting the French than his social graces. But he is so much more than just a ruthless duke, and Serenity could fall in love with him. If only he’d let her.

As demons from Alexander’s past threaten to destroy his and Serenity’s future, they must confront the secrets and lies that brought them together. Must face all that has happened and let themselves love. Or risk losing their one chance at happiness.

Now available!

Lucas had to know if there was any chance Miss Sinclair still felt anything for him.

If she could still feel anything for him.

It had been almost seven years, and while he had thought of her every day, she had thought him dead.

Though she had never married another.

There was hope. And he had done more with less.

It was easier than he’d suspected being reinstated to the living.

It helped his father, the Duke of Montinyard, agreed he was his son.

And it helped more that Whitehall vouched for him.

He was once again Lord Lucas Deverell.

But what did that mean?
